Poetry Class Challenge 2005
nO lIMIT learners

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

When I decided to present my idea first to Dr. Gage about my “talks” this year I first said I would like to take it
to the next level, and get the students more involved. I shared my ideas first with her before Mr. Green had any
idea of what my 2004-2005 school year would entail, I had prepared the “Poetry Class” lesson and after my talk
I presented the kids with a challenge to write. I had hoped to touch one child and hopefully that one child
would want to take my challenge. I admit I was overwhelmed by the volume of writing I received and oh! So
proud of all the students who engaged in the writing challenge and as a child poet I first published at age 10.

From the submissions I received I perceived making a “chapbook” of the students work and they too would
have their first published works.

I have so enjoyed working with the students and this special project has brought so much joy to see the future
in their eyes still bright and taking the steps forward to ‘No Limit Learning’. I look forward to the future of
‘Poetry Class’ and the “Poetry Class Challenge’.

To the No Limit Learners of Mading Elementary (HISD) Houston, Texas 77033 , this is my gift to you.

June Elaine Lacy, International Poet of Merit (Now Editor and Publisher)
May 2005.

SHOT

I believe I can fly
I believe I can touch the sky
I was shot by the FBI
All I wanted was some chicken wings
With onion rings
But they gave me some collard greens

BEST FRIENDS

If I can take your troubles
And toss them in the sea
You can turn that ‘d’ into a ‘b’.

ALESIA JOY HENDERSON

HURT

When I heard I didn’t get in Pershing Middle School I broke down crying because
I really wanted to go there because it had so many things for me to do.

When my mom came home She know something was wrong with me because
I was to quiet

She thought my sister said something to me but she didn’t

My sister Ashley told her why I was so quiet

My mom said it was going to be okay but it wasn’t

When I went to bed I cryed even more because this was my frist rejecting

I WAS REALLY HURT!

THIS IS OUR DAY

This our day to shine
We went through so many things this year

Someones mother died, a boy got shot,
Teachers yelling at us,
Teachers teaching us how to be successful in life
And telling us things we need to know to pass our test,
To do presentations in the class room,
To telling us what we are like and how we carry our selfs.

I’ve prayed to God to help me pass all of my test & graduate this year
Look at me now I’ve passed all my test & I’m graduating today

This is Our Day to shine
Once we graduate we are on our on.

We’re going to the next level & I hope you do well in the future as I DO
THIS IS OUR DAY!!!!!!!!

TOO MANY BOYS
1 brother 7 cousins
too many boys

They bother me all the time

They ask me what I’m doing & they are always talking about someone

When I go into a room
They will follow me

I ask them
May I please have some me time because they are always bugging me!

We need some more girls in the family
- because -

There are too many boys!

©ALESIA JOY HENDERSON 2005
BROTHER

A brother is someone that gets on your nerves, follows you ever where,
Ask what you are doing & always telling on you

Brothers and sisters are always fighting
Calling each other names
Throwing things & yelling at each other

Even though we do all thoses things
We still love each other
&

as

I always say
Brothers
You can’t leave with them
You can’t leave without them
BROTHERS!

By putting my poems in the book

Now it is coming true

Thank you Mrs. June Lacy

PEOPLE

People laugh when you say your going to be
something

People say things behind your back

People want them to be like you

People tell you what you need to know to pass a test but you don’t listen

People teach you how to act but
it looks like they did teach you because you act out in public

People get mad when you tell them the truth about their self
&
People also get mad when they have to do extra home work or more chores

What is wrong with our people
You figure it out
People!

©ALESIA JOY HENDERSON 2005
SUMMER

Summer is the best season ever
You’re out of school
You can wake up late & go to bed late
You can go out of town
Go to camp
Shop till you drop
Go to the beaches
Watch BET & MTV all day
Stay on the phone late
Have sleepovers
Birthday parties
Study for next year
Coutine writing
Doing activities
&
lots more that I can’t even name
Summer is the Best of all
I can’t even wait

Summer!
©ALESIA JOY HENDERSON 2005

GIRLFRIENDS

Girlfriends are like sisters to me

They are there through thick & thin

They are there for anything

They tell me about myself

They tell me what looks good on me
Grilfriends are girls that I can talk to & they can understand me

I am proud to say that those

Grilfriends are Jalyn & Ariel

Girlfriends
©ALESIA JOY HENDERSON 2005
I DREAM

I dream of being poet

I dream that I’ll be successful in life

I dream that I am at my Graduation right now, saying my poem
THIS OUR DAY!

I dream that I’ll be the Best I can be

I dream so many things I can’t even remember them all

I Dream
©ALESIA JOY HENDERSON 2005

IF WE STOP

If we stop talking all the time we could do more

If we stop watching television when we get home
We could bring in our homework the next day

If we stop doing what other people do
We wouldn’t get into trouble so much

If we stop talking about people
We wouldn’t get into so many arguments
&
If we stop doing thing that don’t contain to school
Why Do It?

IF WE STOP!

©ALESIA JOY HENDERSON 2005

I AM………

I am somebody not a nobody
I am something
I am my on hero
I have knowledge
I can, there is no such thing, as I can’t

If I have an education I will have knowledge,
Wisdom, understanding, freedom, justice, equality, food, clothing, shelter, love, peace & happiness

I will get all the knowledge from my teacher before I leave

I am………………you figure it out
If you don’t know
Something is wrong
©ALESIA JOY HENDERSON 2005
THE BEST TEACHER

Mr. Green is the Best teacher I’ve ever had

I never know I will have a teacher like him

On the first day of school I though
I was going to be in Mr. Smith’s class
But I wasn’t

When I heard I was going to be in Mr. Green class
I thought he was going to be the meanest teacher I ever had
But I was wrong

When he teaches me
He makes me want to ask why they did that
He teaches me what he does in school
He tells me about life
He teaches me upper grade levels

I know when I get out of his class I will be ready for anything that comes my way.
©ALESIA JOY HENDERSON 2005

TREYIVEON CLEWIS
TREYIVEON CLEWIS POEM

Life is like a picture you cannot get the right colors

You have to mix them over and over again until you get it right.

You just can put color and shades and textures together you have to think.

Try what you think is the right thing if you think this color is the right color.

Blue means sad or hurt all colors have a different meaning

Happy, joy, pressure, and all sorts of things.

Shades mean a purpose, a purpose means texture, it all goes around.

If you feel wrong about your colors then don’t do it think of something else that comes to mind.

But like I said life is like a color you cannot change that!!!!!!!
©TREYIVEON CLEWIS 2005

REFLECTION

When I look in the mirror I say.
What do you see
I see a man looking at me.
This is you when you or grown
When I grow old I well look in the mirror in say
This is how I look when I was small at age 0-28.
Why so I can bell grown up and rowdy.
©TREYIVEON CLEWIS 2005
FUNNY OLD ME

Roses or ugly, birds are red
Humpdey Dumptey lands on my bread.
With yellow yoke and burning hot head he put me to sleep
When I fell on my bed.
With black shoes and burned legs
Saying help me oh help me,
I need a new head.
©TREYIVEON CLEWIS 2005
WHEN I BALL I CHEER MY SELF UP

When I ball I cheer my self up –
Why I don’t but I just do.
One thing I do now is when I ball
And cheer my self up
I feel brave and unstoppable.
Deep in side I love to be happy.
But when fell in school I cry and cry.
The next year I cheer my self up.
I past the grade level and stay happy for life.
©TREYIVEON CLEWIS 2005
WHEN I CRY

When I cry – I don’t know what to do but spread tears from my eyes.
Why because I am sad. And cannot be cheered up.
Why I just can’t. But when I am sad I cry.
But when I thik deep in side!
A voice says Cheer up. And be a man.
So I said ok I will!
(I should do, what I am supposed to.)
©TREYIVEON CLEWIS 2005

LISTEN

When I don’t listen
I don’t know anything at all
Only negative.
Why?
Because I don’t listen
And it hurts me
Not a good hurt
A bad one
It’s like a stab in the back
With sharp, sharp rifles
And poof
There’s nothing to lose.
©TREYIVEON CLEWIS 2005

LIES

They don’t get you anywhere but in a deeper hole.
You may have gotten out of a problem
But they will come back around.
So why lie.

And they do a lot of things for me.
I’m happy.
Are you happy today? I am.
Are you going to be mad for the rest of your life,
You should not. You should be happy to be living on this earth
Every time I wake up to get ready to get to school
I say to myself
I’m going to have a good day,
Are you happy? You should be.

The day I walk with God I want my life to step forward

I hope I get a job so my life becomes better so
I won’t stay in the hood.

CHELSEA DONNES

WHAT’S SO GOOD ABOUT IT

I have people, who mistrust me,
Ignore me,
I have friends, who ask me too much,
Neighbors who snoop too much,
Visitors who demand too much and
Cashiers who talk too much,
And we never even gotten home yet,
It just makes me mad.
Not always furious, raise your voice mad,
But just sort of simmering, leave me alone mad.
We become hard to live with,
Accommodate
Hard to please,
But the question is,
What’s so good about it?
©CHELSEA DONNES 2005

LET THERE BE PEACE

At the end of a long day or
Before the start of a new one,
I want peace,
For time
Spent alone with your self.
Maybe
Your peace time
Is some other time.
Or maybe
It’s never.
But
It’s never too late
To make time
For you.
And if Jesus
Himself
Need peace,
Certainly
We all need peace.
©CHELSEA DONNES 2005

AMERICA

America is sweet just like you and me,
And the people in America are fighting for me
And you.
Never left sad, but don’t be afraid,
But no matter where I go I am an American girl.
©CHELSEA DONNES 2005

MY SCHOOL

Is it cool where I go to school
We pray, we play, we even work with clay,
My teacher is great, but he
He doesn’t like it when we’re late.
He gives us a sleight,
He tells us to write the date.
©CHELSEA DONNES 2005

CHOCOLATE DINNER

A chocolate dinner, we could bake with a huge towering cake,
My scones with loads and loads of ice cream.
A chocolate cake top with whipped cream,
So airing and delight,
Chocolate topped with pudding.
Slurping with delight. Chocolate milk so full of silk,
Cupcake and chocolate bars,
What a winner, a chocolate dinner.
©CHELSEA DONNES 2005

POOH

Winny the Pooh is the cutest, littlest bear with a big yellow tummy,
Filled with lots of honey,
If he is not with a lots of honey.
And he is not with a pot of honey
Or with his friends,
He’s with me searching for
Piglet under his bed.
©CHELSEA DONNES 2005

TWEETY

Tweety is such a sweety.
Who has a smile like gold,
She has a sweet little soul. She always wants to play
Even when it’s night or day.
Tweety Oh Tweety you are a bright, smart, wise, sweety.
©CHELSEA DONNES 2005

DREAM

Have you ever reached the rainbow and did you find your pot of gold?
Ever catch a shooting star, and tell me how high did you fly?
Ever felt like you were dreaming and you just could not find your way
and the magic that surrounds you, guided you to you way.
See I had a dream a hundred, thousand, million times,
and I finally realized, you see I waited all my life for this moment,
and I finally believe in me and my dream.

BIRTHDAY

It’s a special day, on your birthday.
Hope your wish comes true for a wonderful person like you.
May your day be filled with all of your favorite things even if it’s
Bling, Bling.
Today is the day that is your birthday,
So have fun okay.
©CHELSEA DONNES 2005

LOVE

I think love is different for you and me.
Kiss me under the stars as they shine so bright.
You think I love you while…….yes it’s true.
©CHELSEA DONNES 2005

POEM ABOUT GOD :
WHAT DO YOU NEED
When was the last time you started praying, and ended up just talking to your self,
Or am I just the only one who does that?
Why do we do that?
It’s probably because we’re too often trying to pray while
We’re busy doing something else, like talking on the phone or cooking.
Not that there’s anything wrong with that in fact,
There’s everything right about talking with God while
We’re in the middle of a common task, but if that’s the only time
we ever find to visit with him – that’s wrong.
We need to hear him.
We need to be near him.
We need to pray.

ARIEL HENRY

BEST FRIEND POEM

A friend is someone you like & trust. My best friends are Chelsea & Jalyn.

They have been there for all the times I had trouble. Either at home or at school.
If I tell them secrets, it’s because I trust them.
They are the kind of friends I can talk to & have a positive conversation with.
I love them from the bottom of my heart.

But my main best, best, best friend in the world is God.
Because He’s there for me everyday and all day.

LIARS

To me lying is bad. Sometimes it makes you sad.
It gets you nowhere but into deeper & deeper hole.
So why lie?
Every time you say a lie you have to carry on that lie.
Every time you lie & you forget that lie……
That’s a way people can tell you’re lying
(unless, there are witnesses.)
Lying is stupid to me.
It don’t get you no where but makes you crazy if you lie.
So why lie?
In case you didn’t know
I don’t like or appreciate liars & God don’t either.
I may forgive you but I don’t like liars.
So do it for God.
Don’t lie.
Tell the truth.

THE BEST PERSON IN THE WORLD

The best person in the world is my mom.

My dad is a good person, but my mom is the best.
She’s everything & the rest.
I love her very much.
She’s the best person in the world.
She tells me she loves me everyday
& this is why I always say,
I wonder, I care
My mom is a millionaire.

THE CAFETERIA FOOD

To me the cafeteria food is nasty.
To me they’re all the scholars
Spend their dollars
They know the food is yuck
They just want you to spend some bucks.
© ARIEL HENRY 2005

ROSES & VIOLETS

Roses are red violets are blue
He is so fine, I want him to be mine.
I like him & I hope he does too.
© ARIEL HENRY 2005

SHOPPING POEM

Shopping is always a girls favorite thing
Right when she’s about 17.
To walk in & out of every store.
Starts to get her legs very sore.
With bags crawling up to the sky
It would take at least 10 people to reach that high.
Clothes, shoes & toys
Are 5 times better than boys.
So just ‘1’ rule when you shop
Keep going until you drop.

GRADUATION POEM

I am going to graduate someday & when that day comes.
I’m going to smile & thank all the teachers that helped me.
© ARIEL HENRY 2005

BYE TO MADING ELEMENTARY

I’m very sad I’m leaving Mading because I have been there 6 years.
I’m glad the teachers put up with me.
I’m very sad because I don’t want to go to middle school.
But I am.
So bye Mading

TEACHER POEM

Mr. Green is a wonderful teacher
To me sometimes he’s a preacher
He tells us he loves us very much
To me it’s a touch.
I am so glad he’s my teacher
&
He’s also my preacher.

FUNNY POEM

Roses are red violets are black
Jalyn told me somebody stole her mothers Cadillac.

LONELY

As I sit here in a lonely house,
Thinking and wishing whom will I share my poem with
In this lonely house,
I wish that I had someone to share it with
But…….
I wish I did.

A NEW LIFE

God blessed you with a beautiful and gave the world
A new life to work with
A new life that’s a gift
What are you going to do?
©JALICIA HINES 2005

BYE-BYE

You know what you did,
My heart has been broken by the one and only you.
So all I have to say is BYE-BYE and
Move on because I know I have.
©JALICIA HINES 2005

BEAUTIFUL

Over and over when I began to look at you,
I glow with pride and I know that
You are so beautiful to me,
You are an angel in the sky,
Flower in the garden and a butterfly in the sky.

LET GRADUATE

The time has come for us to move on
And get up and out of here
We have some place with our name on it
And be the best we can
So lets go!

GHETTO

Ghetto
What an environment to waste
Lets get together and
Clean up the ghetto.

GODS HOUSE

Come, come he is waiting
He wants you to praise him,
Let him know that you love him because
He bless your mother
With a beautiful body
So love him and you will live for a very long time,
But do not disappoint him
Love him and he loves you.

Doing nothing but thinking in peace
I hope you are too.

Step Forward

For the family--you know who you are

The day I began my walk with GodI knew it would be difficult provingmyself worthy of the step forward into the hands of healing presence. . . .And as I slowly crossed the seathe waters rushed all around me,giving up its drowning pool. . . . I knewin my heart, the test had begun. It wouldn't always be easy, becausethe fight for life was the day-to-dayfighting the battle of choices,A vulture that stalks the soul. The day I began my walk with God,I remembered I knew things would benever the same and many other thingswould happen that maybe were beyondmy control as simply being. . . .a victim of circumstance or a student of the teachings ofLOVE, PEACE and ENDURANCE providingthe way of the One who walked amongus . . . taking the step forward.

1.5 THE READING

WELL IN 2 DAYS I HAVE A POETRY READING. I WANT TO READ SOMETHING NEW, BUT I REALLY HAVE NOTHING I HAVE PRODUCED TO REFLECT THE 'THEME' OF THE READING CRITERIA......WHO KNOWS WHAT I COULD PRODUCE FRIDAY NIGHT..THOUGH? I'VE PRAYED AND ASKED GOD TO SHOW ME WHAT HE WANTS ME TO SHARE AND HE HASN'T FAILED ME YET.......THE MONSTER KEEPS GOING THROUGH MY HEAD AND STONE WALL SYMPHONY....WE'LL SEE....

NEW POETRY

THE LAST MONTHS I HAVE BEEN PRODUCING A LOT OF NEW WORK AND I SEE A NEW MATURITY IN MY WORDS AND I AM VERY SATISFIED WITH WHAT'S BEEN SAID........THOUGH I'VE NOT SHARED ONE WORD WITH ANY ONE, THE MEW MATURER LACY IS ABOUT TO EMERGE FROM THE SHADOWS.....

MARQUIS' WHO'S WHO OF AMERICAN WOMEN

WELL I HAVE RECEIVED ANOTHER APPLICATION TO SUBMIT TO MARQUIS' WHO'S WHO OF AMERICAN WOMEN....I THINK THIS IS THE 3RD OR 4TH NOMINATION. IT'S AN HONOUR, BUT I'M REALLY NOT MOTIVATED TO FILL OUT THE APPLICATION......UNFORTUNATELY IT'S A TRIGGER.....THE LAST TIME I RECEIVED THE APPLICATION IN 2003 WAS THE SUMMER CHRIS WAS ABUSED........
MY D/L IS MARCH 7, 2005...... ALMOST 2 WEEKS LEFT....OH WELL.

'1.5' THE BOOK

MY 1.5 MATHEMATICS IS TAKING OFF AND WILL BECOME THE PROJECT OF MY HEART AND HEALING. ALREADY AT THE CENTER, IT'S TAKING OFF AND I HAVE THE SUPPORT FOR THE PROJECT, BUT IT BOILS DOWN MORE TO TIME. I HAVE A DEADLINE OF FEBRUARY FOR SUBMISSIONS. IF IT TAKES OFF LIKE I HOPE, THIS MIGHT BECOME A HUGE PROJECT, I HAVE GOT TO TAKE THE TIME TO OUTLINE AND SKETCH SOME IDEAS FOR THE BOOK COVER AND SIZE, ETC.

CONSIDERING THE OTHER ASPECTS I'LL BE EMBRACING WITH THIS PROJECT, INCEST, RAPE, DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, ETC. "1.5 MIGHT START OFF IN VOLUMES", (1.5 VOLUME 1).

I'M ALSO WORKING ON A PROJECT FOR THE KIDS FOR MY FIRST TALK AT MADING IN 2005. I WANT TO GET THE CHILDREN MORE INVOLVED AND PROVIDE 'WRITING EXERCISES' AND BECOME MORE SEEDED IN MY WRITER-IN-THE-SCHOOLS PROJECT. (-: :-)

NOBLE HOUSE

I FIRST RECEIVED AN EMAIL FROM NOBLE HOUSE PUBLISHERS ON 11-30-04 AND A WEEK LATER I RECEIVED A LETTER. THE POETRY EDITOR WHICH IS BASED IN LONDON, SAYS HE'S READ A LOT OF MY WORK WHEN HE WAS HERE IN AMERICA AND WANTS TO PUBLISH ME WORLDWIDE.....(1ST DOOR).

..... THAT INTERNATIONAL WHO'S WHO LISTING WILL OPEN MORE DOORS AND I'M READY TO WALK THROUGH IF NOT RUN......THE TIME IS NOW......TO BE ALL THAT I AM SUPPOSED TO BE IN THIS STAGE OF MY CAREER, BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY THE TIME IS NOW TO GROW INTO ALL THAT THE LORD JESUS CHRIST HAS PREPARED FOR ME.........

AND I THANK THE LORD FOR THE GIFT OF WRITING. BUT I THANK THE LORD EVEN MORE FOR THE TRUTH.

TODAY

TODAY THE DIS-EASE IS MORE ACTIVE THAN THE LAST FEW WEEKS, THE PAIN IS BECOMING HARDER TO BEAR........I TOOK THE FIRST THEOPHYLLINE AND LESS THAN 15 MINUTES I HAD INSTANT RELIEF, BETTER THAN THE BENZONATATE.

HAVEN'T COUGHED UP ANY BLOOD LATELY..........I'M JUST MONITORING THE PROGRESSION UNTIL I CAN SEE THE DOCTOR AGAIN.......COPD IS NO FUN. I MIGHT USE THE NEB BEFORE I LEAVE WCK. OH WELL..............

THANKSGIVING

THIS IS THE DAY I GIVE THANKS, THANK YOU GOD FOR MY SON.
THANK YOU GOD FOR MY FAMILY AND THE FEW FRIENDS WHO HAVE NOT TURNED AWAY COMPLETELY IN THE MOST DARKEST TIMES OF MY LIFE WHEN THE LIGHT OF FRIENDSHIP CAN MAKE EVEN THE TURTLE COME OUT OF ITS' SHELL.

1.5 MATHEMATICS

I SHARED WITH THE GROUP MY 1.5/166.5 HOURS OF TIME. I'VE EXPANDED TO 6/672 FOR THE MONTH AND 72/8064 FOR THE YEAR. HOW SAD IT IS THAT A LIFE HAS TO BE REDUCED MATHEMATICALLY TO 1.5 HOURS OUT OF A WEEK TO FEEL ACCEPTED FOR WHO YOU ARE , WHERE YOU'VE BEEN AND WHAT YOU HAVE TO SAY ABOUT ANYTHING. TO FEEL NOT SO TOTALLY ALONE IN AN OVERCROWDED WORLD, TO NOT BE OSTRACIZED FOR WHAT'S INSIDE YOUR HEAD OR YOUR HEART. 1.5 HOURS OF THE WEEK I CAN HAVE THE SUPPORT OF STRANGERS. NO NEED OF FRIENDS FOR THEY ONLY TURN AWAY OR FIND SOME EXCUSE TO EXIT THE FRIENDSHIP, THOUGH I TRY TO REMAIN A FRIEND WHO HAS NOT........ ONE I CAN TRULY CALL A FRIEND THAT REMAINS A PART OF MY LIFE. TODAY ON A PERSONAL LEVEL I TRUST NO ONE, TRUST HAS BECOME A SWORD THAT BRINGS ME TO WAR......

PLUS I FIND IT LESS PAINFUL TO STAY AWAY FROM 'SO-CALLED ' FRIENDS WHEN YOU NEED THEM THAN TO BE PUSHED AWAY............................OR JUST IGNORED BECAUSE YOU NEED A FRIEND...........SO MY HAT'S OFF TO THE STRANGER..................

MATHEMATICALLY:
168 HOURS (7 DAYS ) - 1.5 HOURS (STRANGERS IN GROUP THERAPY) = 166.5 HOURS
(LEFT TO LONELINESS FOR A GIVEN WEEK) .

WHAT I WOULDN'T GIVE FOR JUST ONE PARSEC OF PEACE INSIDE MY LIFE I'VE ALWAYS CALLED THE NIGHTMARE, THE LONELINESS OF BEING SO ALONE IS ALMOST OVERWHELMING SOMETIMES AS ABUSE HAS SO DESTROYED MY LIFE ALL MY LIFE AND ALL MY LIFE TRYING TO OVERCOME, TRYING TO TRUST AND ONLY FINDING BETRAYAL IN ITS' MANY GUISES, PATRONIZATION IN IT'S MANY MASKS.
IS THERE ANY BODY REAL OUT THERE ANYMORE? HOW LONG HAVE I SEARCHED TO FIND ONE OTHER LIKE MYSELF THAT WE CAN BE OUR SELVES TOGETHER WITHOUT ANY FEAR OF BEING MADE VICTIM AGAIN TO THE CIRCUMSTANCE OF THE HAND THAT'S BEEN DEALT? HOW LONG HAVE I SEARCHED FOR ONE TRUE FRIEND?

AS A CHILD AND AS A WOMAN I STILL CRY THE SAME TEARS FOR THE SAME REASONS.......ALONE ALL ALONG..........(EXCEPT FOR MY 1.5).

INTERNATIONAL WHO'S WHO IN POETRY

THIS LISTING SHOULD OPEN MANY MORE DOORS,........
(IF ONLY I HAD MORE TIME TO GIVE TO MY DREAMS......
IF ONLY I HAD SOMEONE TO SHARE THE DREAM WITH ( A CHILDHOOD FETISH)
IF ONLY I WASN'T A POET........FOR THIS TRAGEDY OF POETS HAS CURSED MY LIFE......
I CRY SOMETIMES....... AND
I SMILE SOMETIMES
OTHER TIMES............
I DIE ALIVE.

ENANTIODROMIAN DISPLAY

AS I BECOME THE TURTLE WHO LIVES INSIDE HIMSELF......

I SEE I AM BECOMING ALL THAT I'M AGAINST.

I AM AGAINST ALL THAT I AM BECOMING.

DUH???????

WHAT CAN I DO WHEN I DON'T HAVE TIME TO WRITE? I GET SO BLOGGED DOWN!!!
I WISH I HAD THE TIME TO JUST CREATE, OR JUST TO COMPLETE A THOUGHT FOR A CHANGE............I MISS MYSELF THE POET

POETRY

AS A POET I FEEL LIFELESS WITHOUT WORDS
